What Personal Information is Collected

Becoming a registered user. If you want to make a purchase from the Trind site then you need to be a registered user. In order to register, you need to share some personal information, such as your name, shipping address, phone number and email address. You do not have to be a registered user to visit Trind.ca & TrindUSA.com web pages.
Making a purchase. When you buy something on Trind.ca & TrindUSA.com, you need to supply your name, shipping address, phone number, email address and credit card information. By making a purchase, you become a registered user of Trind.ca & TrindUSA.com. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. Once credit card information has been processed and approved all information pertaining to any specific credit card is deleted from our servers within 24 hrs.
Payments made via PayPal are subject to the rules and regulations set forth by PayPal.
Sweepstakes, Contests and Surveys. If you enter a sweepstakes or contest, or answer a survey, you will become a registered user (if you aren't one already). We may also ask you for some demographic information, such as your age. If you choose not to answer, you will not be able to participate in the sweepstakes, contest or survey.
Sign up for the Trind Email Newsletter. When you sign up for the email newsletter and mailers you need to supply your email address.

Refunding a Purchase
In the event that you as a customer are entitled to a refund or to correct any errors to your purchase transaction, Trind.ca & TrindUSA.com will require the Order ID located on the receipt that you received with your order. The Order ID is the only reference number that can be used to refund any credit card or PayPal method of payment. The reason for this is that no payment method information is kept on our servers for longer than 24 hours.
For your financial information security the Order ID is indirectly linked to the purchase method (ie. Credit Card) via the credit card processing center and once the two are matched is the only way the refund or adjustment can take place. Credit Card information still remains unviewable by anyone including Trind.ca & TrindUSA.com and therefore is protected.
The Order ID which we also keep on file if you misplaced your receipt is searchable via our database by customer name, email address used and/or date of order placed. Therefore, you can be sure that if any refund or adjustment is necessary your order can be found and the refund or adjustment can take place easily and securely.
- To initiate your return, you must contact us at email@example.com or call us at 1-866-988-7463.
- return & refunds must be initiated within 30 days of purchase. Returned product(s) only qualify for a refund if they are at least 3/4 full.
- Please include the products along with a copy of your original order invoice and a brief reason for the return.
- Customer are responsible for return shipping cost.
- Claims for items that are damaged or shipped incorrectly must be made within 5 business days.
- Shipping fees are not eligible for refund.
- Products unacceptable for credit (non-returnable items or return outside of the 30-day period) will not be returned to the customer, and will be destroyed. Credit will not be issued for that merchandise.
- All credit card purchases will be issued a refund to the credit card used or to PayPal account used to make the initial purchase.
- An order cannot be cancelled once it has shipped.
